Staying Focused: Using Restrictions to Guide Your Training

For members working the day-crewed duty system or similar duty system, ceasing the trial shall take effect from the start-time of the wholetime day shift which operates in your FRS on 18 September 2017. Members who, at that time, are already responding to or in attendance at a call in connection with such work should complete their work until the call has been dealt with. Crews should then make return from the call according to the protocols and norms in your FRS, and for those crews, the cessation of trial shall take effect from the time of release from that incident.

Substitutes and the Bench Environment

For members working in the emergency fire control room, including any joint or shared control rooms, ceasing the trial shall take place from the start time of the wholetime day shift which operates at fire stations in your FRS on 18 September 2017.

September 2014 – The PCSA U13 Girls came out on top in both the CESL league and cup competitions. They went 12-2-2 (W-T-L) in regular season play to win the league by a margin of 8 points. They needed a penalty shootout to win the CESL Cup final against Darlington Rage after the game was tied 3 – 3 at the end of regulation time. Earlier this year the U13 Girls won the Cameron Memorial Tournament in Trenton and were runners-up in the Peterborough Challenge Tournament. The team is coached by Brad Collyer.

Measuring Success in Youth Soccer

August 2016 – For the fifth time this year, Peterborough City Men were on the wrong end of a 1-goal margin when they lost by a score of 2-1 in the final game of the 2016 season on August 26 against Queens Park Rangers (Pickering) at Eastgate Park. After a frustrating season where 12 of their 14 games were decided by a margin of 1 goal or less, City sits in 7th place in the Central Region East division of the Ontario Soccer League with a record of 1 win, 6 ties and 7 losses.
